#1 · Jul 14, 2020 I'm a car guy who's always loved bikes. I'm now trying to turn that into another hobby. I've wanted a Kawasaki KZ1000 since I was a kid and saw the first Mad Max. (My mom didn't restrict what we watched too well). I just recently picked up an 1981 KZ1000. It's a well maintained all original bike.

My bike, "Queen B", is a 1979 Kawasaki KZ1000. I purchased the bike in 2013 from a friend who had it imported in stock form from the States. He had originally built the bike as a homage to American drag bikes of the '70s. Robby (the previous owner) had set the bike up with a rigid rear and an upright riding position.
